Course Overview

LearnCollab’s “Let’s Go Online Shopping and Selling” course syllabus was developed based on real-world e-Commerce marketing consultancy projects. We move great ideas into actions.

The online stores for shopping and selling, together with e-Commerce campaign activities we developed withour learners will be focused on customer acquisition and conversion. We build them from the ground up asthis course has a strong focus on skills practises and is delivered in a fun experiential manner. Businessowners and individuals will be able to benefi t not only by customising our provided templates to suit theirbusiness process and fl ow, but also be able to set out their e-Store by the time the course is completed.

Ultimately, this course allows the participants to learn and deploy a customised online store with e-Commerce campaign in their organisation or own business so as to transform digitally that engagecustomers and increase sales.

What You'll Learn

At the end of the course, learners are able to:

Establish e-Commerce Marketing objectives

Identify what are the methods to advertise product and service online

Determine the feasibility of using different types of online platforms and online mechanics

Evaluate effectiveness of Data Analytics to monitor e-Commerce campaign performance, online mechanics and activities

Create an e-Commerce marketing campaign and online store

Identify key elements of an effective campaign activities and messages

Explain the considerations of consumer reviews and user-generated content

Explain what are the Data Analytics used to understand online customers

Identify ways to gather feedback via online platforms for customers’ satisfaction

Entry Requirements

• Have effective communication and relationship management skills to work with employees from all levels and areas within an organisation

Assumed Skills and Knowledge
• Manage the delivery of services to stakeholders within projects of limited scope
• Have effective communication and relationship management skills to work with employees from all levels and areas within an organisation
• Provide support to operational employees in the implementation of change processes
• Work with competitive knowledge of the business, industry and sector in which the organisation operates
• Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) & Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5
• The entry requirement will be some Secondary/‘N’ level/’O’ level qualification and above and be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the ES WSQ WPL level 5/’N’ level.
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) level 5/’N’ level

Required Years of Experience in Relevant Domain
• Relevant working experience in Retail, F&B or Wholesale services.

Measures to Ascertain Learner Suitability
• Use the Illeris dimensions (Please refer to the Part 3C in the Course Proposal) to ascertain learner’s suitability. If they don’t meet the criteria, learners will have to attend and attain minimum WPL of level 5 and WPN of level 5.
• LearnCollab training executives will provide the learners an application form to fill out before enrolling into the program. This will provide LearnCollab the correct student profile targeted on ensuring that the learners are suitable before they are accepted into the program.

If the learners do not meet the above entry requirements
• Learners who are not able to fulfil basic literacy requirements for the program will be advised to register for the WSQ Work Place Literacy (WPL) Program. Contact information of the providers for the WPL will be provided if necessary.
• Learners without any formal qualifications (e.g. Secondary or post Secondary Level etc) will be required to provide SOA or supporting documents to prove that they have attended WSQ training programs (equivalent or higher) or prove of relevance working experience to justify abilities and competencies. They will then know the expectations of the course such as the willingness to participate in class activities which include group discussion, brainstorming, presentation that requires medium to high sociality and emotion. If the learners do not meet any of the above requirements, they could submit a writing proficiency assessment and interview by program specialist who will then approve on a case by case basis.

SkillsFuture Credit

Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above may use their SkillsFuture Credits to pay for the course fees. The credits may be used on top of existing course fee funding.

This is only applicable to self-sponsored participants. Applications via MySkillsFuture.sg must be made within 60 days before course commencement.

Enhanced Training Support Scheme

– Organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore

– At least 30% local shareholding by Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

– Employment size of not more than 200 (at group level) or with annual sales turnover (at group level) of not more than SGD100 million

– Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
